Fleeting & Switching

AEP River Operations operates two fleets in the Gulf area in Convent and Algiers, LA. Our Convent and Algiers (Dockside) barge fleeting facilities provide fleeting and shifting services for barges throughout the New Orleans harbor area.

We have space for 700 barges in our Convent, LA fleet, and space for 142 barges in our Algiers, LA fleet. 

Cleaning & Repair Facilities

We provide hopper barge cleaning, dry-docking and topside repair services.

Environmental Compliance

Fully permitted by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
