Fleeting & Switching

AEP River Operations has fleets in Convent and Algiers, LA in the Gulf area and in Cape Girardeau, MO. Our Convent and Algiers/Dockside barge fleeting facilities provide fleeting and shifting services for barges throughout the New Orleans harbor area.

We have 665 barge slots in our fleet in Convent, LA, and 142 slots in our fleet in Algiers, LA. Our fleet in Cape Girardeau, MO offers 158 slots. 

Cleaning & Repair Facilities

We provide hopper barge cleaning, dry-docking and topside repair services.

Environmental Compliance

Fully permitted by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
