AEP River Operations offers a leading Belle Chasse, LA shipyard with premiere vessel and barge repair services.

AEP River Operations' shipyard has a 400' topside repair area and seven dry docks with lifting capacities from 1,200 to 2,700 tons. Services include fabrication areas and shop space featuring a tandem 40' - 1,200 ton break press and plasma cutting services.

Our machine shop provides any vessel needs and is able to machine shaft material 13" in diameter to 37' long, including vessel engine alignments. Sandblasting and painting services as well as limited new construction capabilities are available.
